The firm was founded by Janice Tam, a startup general counsel and former Chief Legal Officer. She has led the legal function at multiple venture-backed companies, many in healthcare and other regulated markets, ranging from Series A startups to Series D scaleups. Across them, she has built legal foundations, negotiated commercial deals that drive growth, and resolved disputes.
Her path runs from Princeton and Yale Law School through Big Law and into the founder's seat, where she bootstrapped and ran her own startup.
